Your decor needs to have meaning to you. Like, even if it just makes you smile every day that you walk by it. It should make you smile. Or remind you of something bring up a memory and you really should just you need to highlight. And don’t hold yourself to what everybody else is doing. If that’s not what’s doing it for you, then do your own thing.

Lighting is huge to us. I think even if you did nothing else in your space, if you reconfigure your lighting or do different lamps or I mean even just going through and making sure that everything’s the same color temperature for your lighting. That’s a big one. That’s huge. Things like that or you know if you change all your bulbs from being that kind of blue cold color to being the warm color it completely changes your space. It changes your paint colors.

It’s all about those layers. Being able to have the multiple, you know, you’ve got your overhead, you get your task lighting, you have your accent lighting. You’ve got your afternoon just hanging out lighting. Have a drink, chill out, unwind. 

We really want to start bringing in more character and kind of pride and ownership in our area around here. Because it’s such an awesome town, everybody kind of knows everybody around here. And our kind of business slogan is create the things that you wish existed. I love that, it just makes sense for our business because a lot of it is local. It’s stuff that we get to see and experience and I love that.
